Living in Upper Mission
Upper Mission sits on the bench above Lower Mission, climbing the hillsides east of Lakeshore Road toward Gallagher's Canyon and the Kettle Valley trail network. It's quieter, greener, and noticeably more elevated than its lakeside neighbour — and for many buyers, that elevation is the entire point. Homes throughout Upper Mission, Kettle Valley, and Crawford Estates routinely capture 180-degree views of Okanagan Lake, the city, and the surrounding mountains.
This is one of Kelowna's more recently developed family neighbourhoods, with the bulk of the housing stock built from the late 1990s onward. The result is a clean, master-planned feel: wide streets, newer schools, well-kept parks, and homes that have been designed from the ground up for view orientation and indoor-outdoor living.
