Living in Glenmore
Glenmore is one of Kelowna's largest and most central neighbourhoods, stretching from the back of Knox Mountain north through the Glenmore Valley toward the airport and UBC Okanagan. It's also one of the city's most under-rated value plays — the kind of area where buyers shopping with a $700K–$1M budget consistently end up surprised by what they can get for the money.
The neighbourhood has three distinct personalities. South Glenmore (closer to the city) is the established side, full of 1970s and 80s family homes on tree-lined streets within walking distance of Knox Mountain Park. The central Glenmore Highlands area along Glenmore Drive is a busy commercial-and-residential corridor with townhomes, condos, and newer single-family infill. North Glenmore feels almost rural by comparison — newer subdivisions, larger lots, and quick highway access toward the airport and UBCO.
